i
vicinity of the Golden Eagle Mine. To BRI's knowledge, no surface mines are planned
in the neaz future which would conflict with the operation of the Golden Eagle Mine.
2.05.6(6) Subsidence Survey. Subsidence Monitoring, and Subsidence Control Plan.
This section discusses the effects that mining and subsidence induced by mining may
have had on the permit and adjacent area. The Mine Plan, as shown on Map 4, shows the
area of mining and the sequence followed during the operation of the Golden Eagle Mine.
Map 17, Subsidence Monitoring, shows the location of all subsidence monitoring
stations.
Mining ceased at the Golden Eagle on December 31, 1995. In 1997 the survey
requirements were reduced to only those locations that may have been affected by mining
and were continuing to evidence movement. Monitoring of the remaining active stations
was terminated in October of 1998 due to stable coordinates as determined by at least
four successive quarterly surveys. Table 26 in Exhibit 241ists the status of all subsidence
survey stations. Basin will endeaver to preserve and maintain any remaining subsidence
. monitoring stations through final bond release.
The Surface Ownership Map (Map 1) list the surface owners of record within the permit
and adjacent areas as of October 15, 1998. Basin Resources will update the surface
ownership prior to any future bond release requests.
The mining schedule was distributed by mail to all owners of the property and residents
within the azea above the underground workings and adjacent areas pursuant to Rule
4.20.2. Basin Resources will maintain on file at the mine site proof of mailing of these
public notices.
2.05.6(6)(a) Inventory of Structures and Renewable Resource Lands
(a) (I). Structures and renewable resource lands exist within 500 feet of the projected
zone of subsidence as projected from areas of mining.
2.05-48 (Revised 10/15/98-TR-48)
