<br />' EXHIBIT E -RECLAMATION PLAN <br />' Final reclamation of the gravel pit is to be for grazing and wildlife habitat. This conforms to <br />the land use in the area in general and in nearby Pike National Forest. Reclamation of the <br />approximately 32-acre pit area will follow the timetable as described in Exhibit D (Mining Plan) <br />and will be done in accordance with site vegetation information and applicable USDA-SCS <br />specifications, standards and guidelines (USDA-SCS, 1977; USDA-SCS, 1981a; and USDA- <br />' SCS, 1981b). <br />t OPERATIONS <br />Each reclamation operation will be completed for the applicable phased gravel pit areas as shown <br />,. on the Reclamation Plan Map (Exhibit F). Each phased area will be reclaimed within five years <br />after commencement, or one year after completion, of gravel mining. The following are <br />considered to be the main operations: <br />1) Removal and stockpiling of topsoil prior to hauling of borrow soil (to be completed at <br />beginning of gravel mining). <br />2) Grading to final contours of borrow area and scarification of surface (to be completed <br />' within six months after completion of gravel mining). <br />' 3) Replacement and grading of soil from topsoil area (to be completed within eight months <br />after completion of gravel mining). <br />' 4) Incorporating fertilizer as specified by the plan (to be completed within ten months after <br />completion of gravel mining). <br />5) Seeding grasses, mulching, and fencing (to be completed within one year after <br />completion of gravel mining). <br />The following seed mixture will be used to establish stabilizing vegetation on the stockpiled <br />(interim) topsoil and will be seeded within one year after placement of the topsoil stockpile(s): <br />1 <br />Colo.
