Please supply a baseline vegetation inventory, which includes
quantitative estimates of cover and height for the principal species
in each lifeform represented.
Response; We contacted Mr. Glen McCarty from the U.S.S.C, and requested this
information. Enclosed is the letter of response from his office.
He did not include the quantitative estimates of cover and height
for each species; However, he did indicate to me via conversation
that the cover in the baseline area is less than 10 percent.
E. Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs
Rather than bond for the entire operation, it seems that a floating
bond would be the best arrangement for this operation. For this
reason, please supply a list of major, moderate and minor disturbance
keeping in mind that reclamation will be an ongoing activity.
Response; We agree with and have no argument against your method of deter-
mining bond.
As we can best determine now, the disturbance during normal
operations will be as follows:
Major - 6 acres
Moderate 3 acres
Minor - 7 acres
F. Exhibit M - Local Government approval
1. Please send us a copy as soon as possible.
Response; See enclosures.
I believe this letter covers all of the information that you requested, if
you need any additional information please contact me and I will respond
immediately.
Sincerely
~~~
T.M.Russell
Partner - Owner
Enclosures
cc
