I will reply
by the same format and structure of your letter as follows:
A, Exhibit D - Quarry Development plan
1. To what extent will limestone be mined to bedrock?
Response; We do not intend to mine this quarry to a defined granite bedrock.
The quarry formations are alluvial deposits layered in various
depths and the limestone that we are primarily interested in is
lying on intermitent clays and sandstones; therefore, we do not
expect to leave granite exposed anywhere in the quarry,
1. What is the minimum depth of growth medium to be replaced
Response; We estimate to have residuals suffecient enough for an average
depth of 3-5 inches after the material is distributed and fills
the low areas, fractures, etc.
2. What will be the maximum slope upon completion of the operation?
Response; Although it will vary somewhat throughout the quarry, we plan.
an average slope of less than 3-1.
3.
