will require berms. Culvert
required at about 60+00 to 61+00
for main drainage. •
63+00 to 69+80 Side-hill and through-cuts, and
minor fills along sandstone
ridge. Southern cuts probably
will reach bedrock. Bedrock will
strike about N60W, normal to
alignment at about 64+00; dip
will be about 15°-20° NE. Strike
and dip of rocks favorable to
alignment. Northern cuts
probably will be in colluvium.
69+80 to 72+40 Fill will require culvert to
accommodate runoff from drainage
basin above.
72+40 to 74+90 Major fills on south to minor
side-hill cuts and fills
northward. Rock strikes N80W in
this reach and dips 19° NE,
favorable to this reach. Cuts
will be shallow and may not reach
bedrock.
74+90 to 76+60 Shallow side-hill cuts probably
in colluvium, and fills; may •
require a culvert in fill at main
drainage.
76+60 to 80+80 Major fills from 76+60 to 78+00;
minor side-hill and through-cuts;
minor cuts in sandstone at 78+50,
78+54.65, 79+00, 79+92.36, 80+00
and 80+50; strike and dip (N80W,
19° NE) favorable to alignment.
80+80 to 84+00 Mainly high fills on steep
slopes. High fills on steep
slopes may need to be keyed into
slope.
4.3 Sedimentation Pond (010)
The location and configuration of the sedimentation pond were
furnished to us on July 13, 1994, and were further clarified on
July 26, 1994. Dimensions are approximate since they were scaled
from enlargements of an original drawing at the scale 1"=400'.
Figure 2 is a sketch of the sedimentation pond and the test holes •
26
