Gilbert Concerned Citizen <br />INTRODUCTION <br />On April 5, 1999, DMG issued its recommendation for approval of the Delta Paving Gravel Pit <br />application, over objections. DMG considered the issues raised by the objecting parties and <br />commenting agencies in its review process. DMG has prepared a findings document, titled Rationale <br />for Approval Recommendation, dated April 7, 1999, which is in the permit application file and which <br />have been previously provided to all parties and Board members. The findings document contain a <br />detailed explanation of the grounds for DMG's recommendation to approve the application over the <br />objections filed with the Office. The findings document also provide a detailed response to each of <br />the issues raised by the objections and comments. <br />During the review period, all public notice requirements were followed, and all public meetings and <br />conferences were held as provided in the Rules. <br />ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED, as outlined in the Proposed Pre-hearing Order. <br />1. Does the reclamation permit application properly end adequate/y de/ineate wet/and areas on <br />the site? <br />Staff determined that the application appropriately delineated the existing vegetative cover for the <br />proposed affected lands, as required by Rule 6.4.3(e) and C.R.S. 34-32.5-112(3)(1). <br />See staff response under item 2a of DMG's Rationale for Approval Recommendation. <br />
