2.05.3(3, Mine Facilities ~continuedl
such without reclamation. Certain contracts for coal may be available for coal haulage
directly to the railroad, and if so, the stockpile may be eliminated. All of the coal
processing equipment will be portable, however the crusher will remain stationary for ease
of loading into it from the ramp.
It is anticipated a bath house will not be needed because of the proximity of the mine to
Trinidad. The local office of MSHA states the miners can elect not to have a bath house.
If one is required, a portable water supply will be provided for the installed unit, and a
septic tank/leach field sewage system will be constructed under permit in accordance to local
zoning regulations.
The office will be a portable office trailer. A concrete foundation intended for a
maintenance ship is an existing structure.

Update for 1995 Permit Renewal
The mine ceased operations in 1993 and the site was backfilled, graded, retopsoiled
and reseeded by the end of 1993. All structures were removed except for the sediment
pond and the access road. Both of these structures will remain at the request of the
landowner. See 2.05.4 Reclamation Plan or Exhibit KK-1 for details on these two
structures.
-2-
• Revised for permit renewal I I/l7/95
