,'
Item 3. Due to the nature of this type of gravel bed and
the topography of the land, the exact dimension of the pit
is at this time nearly impossible to plot. Hovrever we estimate
the thickness of the vein to be approximately ten feet thick.
There are no creeks, roads, wells, or potirer lines vrithin 200
feet of the affected area. 47e have computed the road to contain
approximately 40,000 square feet therefore deducting this from
the total of 9.87 acres in the permit we have 8.952 acres
arhich vrill be the pit proper. Assuming the above depth of gravel
and extracting 70,000 Tons annually, eve estimate the life of
the mine to be three years.
Exhibit D
Included
Exhibit E
The reclaimation plan as stated in Exhibit E and the recom-
mendations from the soil conservation service are valid as
far as I am concerned. However as far as fertilizing and
vrhatever use the land will be put to following the mining,
this will be the sole decision of Otis Lyons as he will again
have the full use at that time.
Exhibit H
Included.
Sincerely
d - V w ~~
James W.
