Dear Mr. Loye :
In response to your letter of September 4 , 1980, I
have the following information:
A. Application Form Items 13 and 14 :
The two acres of roadway indicated are not necessarily
preexisting therefore , should be considered affected
land; thereby increasing the application fee by $10 .
A check is attached.
B. Exhibits C & D:
1 . Covered in A.
2 . Dewatering of areas during mining operations is
accomplished by pumping into the St . Vrain Creek.
An application has been filed with the Colorado
Department of Health for a NPDES discharge permit
for groundwater dewatering. Copy of application
attached as Exhibit S1 .
3 . A crusher - screening unit is on site and has been
operating under the previous permit . The plant is
located 1200 feet south and 500 feet east of the
northwest corner of the NW 1/4 . The temporary
buildings shown on Map C are not connected with the
crushing activities but are the remains of the farm
buildings that were used as farmstead in the past .
