This re ort regazds the proposed site plan revtew for the Duckworth Pit on Idaho Creek in Weld County, Colorado. This project, as proposed, may disturb riparian habitats. Based on the information provided, and given our compliance with the Preble's survey ouidetines, the Service finds the report acceptable and agrees that a population of Preble's is not ~Jkely to be present within the subject area. Thus, the Service concludes that the propposed project on thJS site should not have direct adverse affects to Preble's. Should Preble's populations exist downstream from the site, actions on the site that result in sigttificant modifications of Preble's habitat downstream (for example, through alteration of existing flow regimes, or sedimentation) maybe subject to provisions of the ESA.
