Location of Mine: Weld County, T2N, R68W, Section 16, NE1/4 <br />4. Nearest Town/General Location: The towns of Frederick and Erie are located <br />east and south of the proposed mining area. <br />5. Land Ownership: Private <br />6. Present Land Use: Pastureland <br />7. Proposed Final Land Use: Recreational ponds and wildlife habitat <br />9. Minerals Being Mined: Aggregate <br />8. Type of Operation: Surface <br />11. Depth of Excavation and Distance to Nearest Surface Water Flow: The maximum <br />depth of excavation will be on the order of 25 feet. The nearest flowing natural water source <br />is Idaho Creek, which lies between the mining pazcels but will not be impacted. A 60-ft <br />offset will be maintained from the creek. <br />12. Total Number of Acres to be Permitted: 55 acres <br />10. Total Number of Acres Disturbed: 50 acres maximum <br />11. Miles of roads to be constructed: None <br />12. Life of Mine (years): Sand and gravel reserves will be sufficient for approximately 3 <br />year of mining.
