Attached is an additional copy of their acknowledgement.
Item number 3 - Only the immediate area of disturbance will be striped of topsoil to cut down on
the amount of stockpile. This topsoil stockpile shall have a maximum of 3:1 side slope and be
revegatated with the attached recommended BLM mixture for stabilization.
Item number 4 -Storm water permit will be applied for if necessary.
Item number ~ - Again the method of mining will be to remove only the topsoil within the
immediate mining opemtion. Once a new portion of the hillside is exposed and topsoil
removed existing erosion control swales will be extended. At the base of mining operation an
additional s~vale will be constructed as a safety measure to control runoff within that particular
area as well.
Item number 6 - A Rio Blanco County Road map is attached. This map has highlighted the
proposed mining site, access by county roads and location of state highways.
Item number 7 -"Ilse distance from the closest point (Southeasterly] of the 9.99 acres to the
existing pipeline (lying east of project site) is 400 plus feet.
Sincerely,
~~
James 1ov
