"Please clarify if Lafarge intends to maintain an offset distance of I10 (60 feet plus the <br />additional SO feet) from Idaho Creek and Smith & Emmons Ditch. In addition, will all <br />offsets from ditches be mined at a 3h:1 v slopes as stated in the test and on Exhibit C. <br />Lafarge will maintain a 50-ft undisturbed buffer from Idaho Creek and Smith & Emmons <br />Ditch. The 60-foot stability offset will be mined at a 3h:ly slope as stated in the permit <br />text and Exhibit C. This allows for a total of 110 feet orthogonally projected from the pit <br />floor to the structure. <br />Lafarge hopes these responses adequately address the concerns of the Division.
