<br />of the wetland area, plans for revegetation of the created wetlands, and itemized reclamation costs for such <br />tasks. The Division will consider the concept of "volunteer" wetland vegetation as a means for <br />establishing the desired vegetation. However, the applicant will need to provide a list of typical wetland <br />species that may volunteer and a reclamation cost For reseeding wetland species in the event the <br />"volunteer" growth has not established itself within the first two (2) growing seasons following site <br />grading. <br />As an alternative, the operator may provide an alternate reclamation plan for the 32.2 acre wetland area. <br />An acceptable alternative reclamation plan may include I) water storage and provisions for compliance <br />with OSE requirements, 2) backfilling the excavation to at least two (2) feet above the groundwater table, <br />topsoiling, and reseeding to provide a stable vegetative cover, or 3) backfilling the excavation to at least <br />two (2) feet above the groundwater table, and compaction to provide a stable surface for <br />industriaUcommercial development. <br />EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />13. In accordance with Rule 6.4.7 [he applicant has identified two (2) registered wells [ha[ are within 600 <br />feet of the proposed excavation. The applicant has also provided waivers to the Office of the State <br />Engineer regarding possible impacts to these wells from the mining operation. The Division requests that <br />the applicant provide a map (revised mining plan map) showing the location of these 2 wells, and a <br />commitment to secure an OSE approved well permit prior to exposure of groundwater at the Tanabe Pit. <br />Once again, I will look forward to your response on or before 12:00 noon on June 2, 2000. Rule I.8.1 <br />states that changes and additions to the permit application must be filed with the Division and the County <br />Clerk and Recorder.
