LnnR <br />Drvisbn Duccwr <br />Listed below are outstanding adequacy review comments on the above-captioned permit application. The <br />comments are listed in the same order as the Division's March 30, 2000 adequacy letter and are items that <br />require either clarification or additional information prior to 12:00 A.M., June 2, 2000. The Division is <br />still reviewing the stability analysis and groundwater hydrology portions of your May 24, 2000 adequacy <br />response. As you may know, the Division will be making a recommended decision on your application on <br />the afternoon of June 2, 2000. <br />EXHIBIT D -MINING PLAN <br />5. On page 5 the applicant specifies that an overhead conveyor will be used to transport aggregate <br />materials from the'fanabe Pit across Brighton Road over to the processing plant at the Howe Pit. Please <br />indicate if the support structures will be removed during final reclamation and if so, provide a demolition <br />cost for removal. <br />6. The applicant has provided a revised table of the maximum disturbance expected at any one time. This <br />includes 13.2 acres in the Phase ]Area. Please verify the expected depth to groundwater in the wetland <br />area, the depth of backfilling required to produce the desired hydrologic soil conditions for wetlands, and <br />the volume of backFill material required (including process fines and overburden materials). <br />8. The applicant has provided a representative cross-sectional diagram of an OSE approved liner that may <br />be used at the Tanabe Pit. For purposes of evaluating the reclamation cost for the Tanabe Pit, the Division <br />will refer to the representative diagram. In the absence of a specific design for the Tanabe Pit, the Division <br />requests that the operator commit to securing design approval from the OSE prior to construction and to <br />providing the Division with a technical revision to the reclamation plan in the event that an alternate design <br />is used. <br />EXHIBIT E -RECLAMATION PLAN <br />• <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />12. There are no provisions for site grading or revegetation of the 32.2 acre wetland in the Phase [area. At <br />a minimum, the applicant will need to provide a grading plan showing the approximate contours or slopes <br />
