7.0 RECOMMENDED GROUND-WATER MONITORING FRE9UENCY
Some of the ground-water levels in the Trapper mine aquifers
vary significantly during the year. Quarterly monitoring of water
levels is needed and recommended to define these changes in the'
aquifers.
Water quality in the Trapper mine aquifers does not change
very fast due to the small rates of ground-water movement.
Therefore only the late Spring and early Fall samplings for water
quality are recommended. This data should be adequate to define
the water quality changes in the aquifers at the Trapper mine. The
ash and GLUX-1 wells will continue to be sampled quarterly due to
a perceived insufficient time frame in which sampling data has been
collected. Contined consistency in data sampling could initiate a
• request on Trappers part to decrease sampling frequencies
associated with ash monitoring and GLUX-1 well.

7-1
