i• <br />Exhibit "B" <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />The operator shall provide the following information: <br />(a) A description of the vegetation and soil characteristics in the area of the proposed <br />operation acquired from the Las Animas County NRCS. <br />Please see the enclosed report from Ken Lutz, District Conservationist, stationed at the <br />Trinidad Field Office at 422 E. First Street, Trinidad, CO 81082, Phone - (719) 846-3681, <br />Fax-(719)846-0525 <br />(b) Identify each man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the affected azea <br />and the owner of each structure. <br />No man-made structures are within two hundred (200) feet of the affected azea. Please <br />see Exhibit "E"- Map. <br />(c) A description of the water resources in the azea of the proposed operation. <br />. The proposed operation is located on the side of a knoll owned by the <br />operator/applicant. The stormwater will be absorbed by the gradually sloping adjacent land. The <br />pit floor will be left flat with a gravel plate to absorb water that falls in the pit area. No <br />Stormwater Discharge Permit will be required from the State of Colorado Water Resources <br />Division. <br />(d) A wildlife statement is not required. It is unlikely that any wildlife species will <br />impacted negatively. <br /> <br />
