E7~HIBIT H <br />WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />The Colorado Natura] Heritage Program provided a database search for threatened or <br />endangered species, The results of that search are included in Appendix H-l. <br />The results show that there are no threatened or endangered species in the vicinity of the <br />proposed mining site. One species, the Townsend's big-eared bat, is listed as a species of <br />"special concern" by the State of Colorado and has also been assigned a federal status by <br />the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service. However, this species is not <br />threatened or endangered, and the nearest documented sighting is more than a mile to the <br />east of the proposed site. <br />• <br />• <br />~~ <br />
