E7LHIBIT G <br />WATER INFORMATION <br />The proposed mining operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater. <br />Two "intermittent" streams are indicated on the USGS topographic map. One is located <br />just east of the site, the other is located just to the west. These streams only have surface <br />water during rainfall events, and neither have defined stream beds or banks. The <br />drainage along the west edge of the site will be protected with berms, silt fencing, <br />sediment traps or other appropriate sediment control devices. <br />No water is expected to be needed for the mining operation or reclamation. <br />The Division of Water Resources (DWR) has no records of wells in either Section 1 or <br />Section 36. However, well records for Section 25, located adjacent to Section 36 on the <br />north, indicate the depth to water in the uppermost aquifer is approximately 10 to 32 feet. <br />• <br /> <br />
