Mark Loye • •
Page 2
December 9, 1980
Exhibit F:
Please correct the normal water elevation of the lake in Parcel B from 5002'
to 5012'. This apparently was a drafting error.
Exhibit G:
Material is dredged wet and placed in stockpiles where it dries out before
it is processed. Material being processed must have virtually no water con-
tent or it will plug the processing equipment. It does not appear that handling
material in this manner is a consumptive use of water which will require industrial
water rights.
The Brannan Sand & Gravel Company owns 35 shares of the Fulton Ditch.
A copy of the NPDES permit application for this site is enclosed.
Exhibit H:
Thank you for sending the review from the Division of Wildlife.
It will not be feasible to create islands during mining. Some slight shoreline
irregularities may be created.
Cottonwood trees along the property perimeter will be left during mining. Most
trees in the interior of the property will be removed.
Exhibit I:
The requested soils analysis is enclosed.
Exhibit L:
This 57 acre figure includes the backfilled areas and lake shores.
Designated areas will be backfilled with free material. Material will be received
free from contractors other than Brannan or from Brannan jobs. The cost of haul-
ing this material to the backfilling site is incidental to the contractors.
The $10,000 figure for leveling and grading is based on 57 acres at about 6 hours
of scraper time per acre.
Exhibit N:
The Emission Permit still has not been received from the Air Pollution Control
Commission although we understand that it has been approved. I will forward a
copy to you as soon as it is available.
Thank you again for your review.
Very truly yours,
THE B NNAN SAND & GRAVEL COMPANY
Ann B. Hodgson
Resource Manager
Real Estate Division
Encls.
