No waste rock or dumps will remain on the sites after mining. Rocks are silicates and will need no
treatment to prevent leaching of toxic materials as none aze produced. All materials will be used to
backfill the original excavations. No other features will be created which will potentially affect the
hydrological balance or off-site areas. Reclamation efforts will result in contoured slopes to trap rain
runoff. We will also use some rock water-bazs in the natural depressions to prevent any major gullying
which could occur after heavy rain. Presently, timber from the Hayman fire is being Laid down across
slope and across these depressions to reduce possible erosion.
6.3.4. (21 Actual reclamation cost estimates
Cost estimate is based on maximum excavation and disturbance at any possible time (worst case
scenario). Estimates aze based on actual past costs for reclamation.
Estimate is based on 4,000 sq' excavation at 80 feet by 50 feet by 25 feet deep. Waste rock is stored
within 20 feet of excavation. Topsoil and subsoil is stored within 20 feet of excavation. No roads aze
created which need reclaimed.
