~ ! III IIIIIIIIIIIII III
December 18, 1979
2tr. Don Kriz
Ptountain Mobile tfix, Inc.
Eox 517
Frisco, Colorado 80443
P.P: Chambers Pit
Our file G79-205
Dear "Ir. Kriz:
I have reviewed your application for conversion of your 110 (limited impact)
permit on your "Rifle Pit" to a 112 (regular) permit, now to be called the
"Chambers Pit." I have several comments on the adequacy of the application
as relates to possible approval by the Pained Land Reclamation Board. I hope
these comments will be helpful to you.
First of all, relating to item 13 on the application forma the acreage of
affected land seems to be too low. For example, if the Chambers Pit acreage
is ten acres, it ~rhould be added to the nine original acres of the Rifle Pit,
giving a total of nineteen acres, and an additional fee of $135.00.
The remaining comments will be made on an exhibit by exhibit basis. F.xliibits
not mentioned are considered to be adequate at this time.
Exhibit C: Referring to Rule 2.12, Bxhibit C, this map should portray the
following:
1. All immediately adjacent surface owners of record.
2. The existing topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient
detail to portray the direction and rate of slope of the affected land.
In this regard, a topographic map would be better than an aerial
photograph.
3. The total area to be involved in the operation (including all of
the original rifle Pit).
4. The type of persistent vegetation (where it exists) covering the
affected lands.
5. Additional water informations .including tributary water courses,
wells, springs, etockwater ponds, reservoirs and ditches on the affected
land (Reference Rule 2.12 (7) b (i) ).
