1999 Annual Report <br />Stormwater Management Plan <br />Cazbon Junction Mine <br />Page 2 <br />In addition to inspections of the sediment ponds and surface water control system, <br />inspections of the engineered reclaimed spoil azea were conducted on a quarterly basis by <br />Goff Engineering and Surveying, Inc. of Durango, Colorado. These inspections addressed <br />the stability of the engineered spoil placement and noted any concerns with the pile as well <br />as surface water control. No significant concerns were identified during the inspections. <br />Comprehensive inspection of all aspects of the mine operation, including stormwater <br />management practices was undertaken by Oakridge Energy and CDMG during complete <br />quarterly inspections of the mine, occurring March .11, April 27, June 30, July 14, and <br />October 20, 1999. No concerns with the surface water control structures were identified <br />during the inspections. <br />STORMWATER MONITORING (1999) <br />No specific stormwater monitoring was required or undertaken during 1999. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />I certify under penalty of law that this doctunent and all attachments were prepazed under <br />my direction or supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified <br />personnel properly gather and evaluate the information submitted.
