This was consistent with results noted during field <br />inspections. Dry conditions prevailed. <br />Permit COG-0000906 3rd Quarter 2000 <br />The report for COG-0000906 indicates no discharge during the 3rd quarter 2000 from <br />the four sediment pond outfalls, two mine water discharge outfalls, and the domestic <br />waste water outfall to pond 6. This was consistent with results noted during field <br />inspections. Dry conditions continued during the period. <br />Permit COG-0000906 4th quarter 2000 <br />The report for COG-0000906 indicates one discharge from outfall 007 during the 4'h <br />quarter. Two questions result following review. <br />1. Why is the notation NA listed for the suspended solids parameter? Only with <br />burden of proof can the suspended solids limitation be waived. No burden of <br />proof was submitted. Please explain. <br />2. In the frequency of analysis column, 1/1 is listed for each parameter. According <br />to the instructions, the values in this column should reflect the required sampling <br />frequency for each parameter, i.e. 1/7 for one day per week, 1/30 for one day per <br />month, etc. DMR's from past quarters (3`d quarter 1999) indicate proper <br />completion of information in this column.
