1.0 INTRODUCTION
In fall of 1967, Greystone Development Consultants, Inc.
(Greystone) conducted a vegetation sampling program at Wyoming
Fuel Company's (WFC) New Elk Mine near Trinidad, Colorado.
Cover, production, and woody plant density was measured in the
Willow Carr reference area and woody plant density was measured
in the refuse disposal area.
Section 2.0 of this report describes the methods that were
used to accomplish this work and Section 3.0 outlines the results
of the sampling program.
