All work that requires: traffic control shall be supervised by a registered,professional traffic engineer or by a <br />traffic control-supervisor certified by the American Traffic Safety Services Associaton (ATSSA) or the ' <br />Colorado Contractors Association (CCA): When flagging personnel aze required, they shall be certified by the. <br />contractor in accordance.with the Department standards. <br />34. :The.use.of appropriate advanced warning and construction traffic control signs; flashers, barricades and <br />' flagging is required at aYl times during eonshuction: These devices.shall be located within the State Highway <br />119 Right-Of: Way and be in.confbrmance with the Manual bn Uniform Traffic Control Devices; Part VI and <br />'other applicable standards. . <br />35. The surfacing within CDOTRrght-Of--Way shall. meef the Department's-specifications with the following <br />maferial placed for finabgrade: 10 : inches ABC, Class 6 Base and 5. inches of Hot Bituminous Pavement <br />(HBP Grading S [75] PG 58-22) placed in two (2) lifts, or an approved equivalent. <br />39. .The existing asphalt adjacent to all new pavement shall be saw cut and removed a minimum of one foot back. <br />from the existing edge, of until au.acceptable existing cross slope is acliieved, to assure a straight edge, for the <br />joint. <br />- 40.
