RECOMMENDATION: Observe quarterly for vegetation growth and erosion on the azea north and west
of the water tank.
IDENTIFICATION: Sedimentation Pond ^ G1 q
DATE OF INSPECTION: Mazch 28,.1998 I Gj~ (~J 1
LOCATION: Section 36, T33S, R64W, 6th P. M.
Las Animas County, Colorado
COMMENTS: No hazardous conditions exist at the pond, also there are no indications of erosion of
the dike or on the banks of the sediment pond. The area that was previously dredged is clearly visible,
i.e. the south half of the pond. The principal spillway structure was visible because some of the
surrounding cattails and other vegetation was downed by the winter's snows. This vegetation was still
dormant. The spillway was running slightly but there was no surface drainage into the pond.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Monitor the banks of the sediment pond for signs of erosion into the pond and
observe quarterly for vegetation.
1, Santiago Romero Jr., Colorado Professional Engineer No. 20068, state that this report hereon was
prepared by myself and is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and from information provided
by others. _...,....•,•
Santiago Romero
enclosed: 27 photos of the site.
QPV p• R C , ~~' 4p'!n
v : ~r '9p'•. ~
~+? ~• C
U :~ A~
trn 20068
~0~.. ..... _`~C
