PUBLIC NOTICE
Please be advised that on September 27, 2004, Rivera Excavation, P.O. Box 24,
Amalia, NM 87512, [phone] has filed an application for a Construction
Materials Limited Impact (110) Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined
Landed Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act
for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed mine is known as the
Rivera Excavation Gravel Pit and is located at or near Section 26, Township 1 N,
Range 74 W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Costilla County. The application decision is
scheduled for October 27, 2004
The proposed date of commencement is Fall 2004 and the proposed date of
completion is Fall 2020. The proposed future use of the land is Rangeland in
Agriculture Zoned District.
A copy of the application is available for review at the Costilla County Clerk &
Recorder's Office, 400 Gasper St., [phone] and at the office of the Division
of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman St., Denver CO 60203, (303)
866-3567 or the above named applicant.
Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must
be received by the Division of Minerals and Geology beginning on September 27,
2004. The decision date for the application is scheduled for October 27, 2004.
