EXHIBIT C MINING PLAN <br />Rivera's Excavation is proposing a permit for a sand and gravel pit for construction <br />purposes. The estimated date is spring 2004, pending on approval of application. <br />The method of mining will consist of a truck & shovel. Equipment to be used will be a <br />front-end loader, dump trucks, tandem trucks, and possibly a bulldozer for stockpiling of <br />material. This method and equipment will be used in each stage of operation. <br />The estimated size of the area to be mined is 9.5 acres. The operation will begin from the <br />eastern boundary of the property and mined westwazd. Each section stages will consist of <br />about 2 acres in size. See Exhibit D, The timetables for completing each aze unknown at <br />this time. The thickness of the azea to be mined is approximately 10 feet and over burden <br />is estimated at 10" to 20" in depth. <br />No ground water is expected to be encountered as a result of the excavation. There is a <br />possibility that there may be a storm water accumulations at lower elevation on the site <br />and the storm water drainage. No other water is expected to be utilized with the proposed <br />operation. <br />There is an existing to the gravel pit site from County Road C . Rivera's Excavation will <br />continue to use this entrance for operation. There will be no structures on this site. See <br />Mining Map for Road Entrance. <br />The Vegetation presently on the affected lands is mostly grasses and brush. The <br />commodity to be mined is sand and gravel for use as road base. Incidental products from <br />operation will be used for reclamation purposes. No refuse, acid or toxic producing <br />material will be exposed, it wiU be removed and relocated to a proper landfill. <br />
