ExN181T•E
RECLAMATION PLAN
The anticipated post mining land use will be grassland.
The haul road will be in the affected area of the Pit, and
will enter a county road to the south. At the completion
of mining, all slopes will be graded to no steeper--than
3:1 and countoured to match the natural terrain of-the area.
Final grading will be approved by the Materials Engineer,
then the topsoil will be disced to a depth of approximately
6" prior to seeding. After the completion of fertilizing
and seeding, mulch will be placed according to the seeding
plan.
The area will be sloped subsequent to the completion of
the mining operation for the projects. Less .than 10 days
will be required for grading.
See attached seeding and fertilizing plan. The Soil
• Conservation Service seeding plan is just a guide. The
Department will use its own seeding plan.
The vegetation cover of the Pit area is sparse (25~)•
.~
