• 14.0 OTHER COSTS <br />Costs for complete downhole explosive service, including all loading and blasting <br />activities, were obtained from a quote by MSI. Details of the quote are provided in Appendix C, <br />Cost Documentation. The method of calculating costs is illustrated by the cost calculation <br />worksheets presented in Appendix D, Cost Tables. <br />15.0 CALCULATION OF TOTAL COSTS FOR EACH RECLAMATION ACTIVITY <br />Total costs for each reclamation activity and disturbance azea were calculated by <br />multiplying required equipment hours by the corresponding costs. Total activity costs as well as <br />the individual components used in calculating those costs aze indicated on the individual cost <br />calculation tables, included in Appendix D, Cost Tables. <br />16.0 DEVELOPMENT OF COST ESTIMATES FOR PROJECT OVERHEAD, <br />CONTRACTOR PROFIT, AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION <br />• Overhead costs and contractor profit aze based upon the total direct and indirect project <br />costs calculated as described in the preceding sections. The percentages utilized in calculating <br />project costs for public liability insurance, contractor performance bond, contractor profit, and <br />engineering and bid prepazation aze shown in Appendix C, Cost Documentation. A description of <br />how the percentages aze applied to subtotals of direct and indirect costs is also included in <br />Appendix C. <br />Supervision, Support Equipment, Mobilization and Demobilization costs were calculated <br />using the equipment fleet requirements, equipment ownership costs, and labor rates previously <br />determined as a basis. Cost calculations for these general and administrative costs aze summarized <br />in Appendix D, Cost Tables. These costs include the costs associated with the overall reclamation <br />project, and cost breakouts aze also provided for individual disturbance azeas. <br />17.0 DETERMINATION OF TOTAL BOND RECLAMATION COST <br />• The total estimated bond surety necessary to provide for complete reclamation of <br />disturbance during the next five yeaz permit term was determined by adding the total duect <br />project costs and project overhead and profit figures. <br />Table 2, Summary of Costs, shows a complete breakdown of direct and induect costs for <br />io <br />
