gallon water trucks and two overburden drills would be required to complete reclamation work.
• The proposed reclamation equipment fleet will optimize utilization of support and auxiliary
equipment and result in completion of reclamation in less than one yeaz. Required hours for those
reclamation functions, which aze sequenced to follow completion of loader/truck work, were
estimated in the same manner. The resulting project duration is estimated at approximately 42
weeks for earthmoving and 8 weeks for revegetation. Figure 1, Project Schedule, graphically
summarizes the sequencing and timeframes for major reclamation activities.
10.0 EQUIPMENT COSTS
All equipment costs utilized in the bonding cos[ estimate were supplied by DMG. These
costs used aze presented in Appendix C, Cost Documentation.
11.0 LABOR COSTS
Labor rates in the bonding cost estimate were also supplied by DMG as sununazized in
Appendix C, Cost Documentation.
• 12.0 FACILITIES DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL COSTS
Unit costs for removal of structures and facilities in the mine facilities and tipple azeas
were obtained from the standazd reference, "Site Work and Landscape Cost Data", published by
the R. S. Means Company. For the mine facilities azea, disposal of the resulting demolition debris
was assumed to occur in neazby pit backfill azeas. For the tipple azea, demolition debris would be
placed in the excavation resulting from demolition of the coal stockpile reclaim system. Facilities
to be removed aze shown on the Facilities Regrading and Removal Map, Map 38. Details of
demolition costs by facilities type aze shown in Appendix C, Cost Documentation. The method of
calculating costs is illustrated by the cost calculation worksheets presented in Appendix D, Cost
Tables.
13.0 REVEGETATION COSTS
Costs for revegetation and reseeding activities aze based upon recent costs for work
• completed at the Colowyo Mine and current ASCS rate schedules. Details of the revegetation
cost estimate are presented in Appendix C, Cost Documentation. The method of calculating costs
is illustrated by the cost calculation worksheets presented in Appendix D, Cost Tables.
9
