Re: Underground Fuel Tank Excavation, Southfield Mine. Permit No. C-81-014
Dear Mr. Weaver:
On December 21, 1987, the Division received notice from the Southfield Mine
that an underground fuel storage tank will be relocated within the existing
permit area. Considering this particular activity involves a "minor
• alternation in the location of facilities within the permit area" (as per
Section 1.04(73)), the mine must submit an application fora minor revision.
Supplementary documentation should also be submitted which contains a
narrative describing the proposed minor revision and a revised Structures Map
indicating the proposed location of the fuel storage tank.
Upon receipt of the information mentioned above, the staff will expedite the
adequacy review process.
