Mr. Bob Freitag
Page -4-
Other
The letter sent to you December 22, 1980, by Mark Loye
stated that we still need the proof of publication on this
pit, and that we have not record of BLM and Huron Investment
being notified. What is the status of this.
77-366 or 80-11 Woodside Park Pit
1. Why was the original pit application given at 9.2 acres and
is now given at 2 acres?
2. Contact the State Department of Health for their requirements
regarding landfills.
3. Is there still topsoil available at this site for reclamation?
4. If indeed a landfill is now proposed for this site, it will
be necessary to submit a technical revision outlining the
details.
5. Presumably, if Woodside Park adjoins the pit on all sides,
the only adjacent landowner is Park County (if Woodside Park
is owned by the County). If this is the case, there are no
adjacent landowners. Please clarify this situation.
6. Please outline the pit on your map.
80-9 Will-O-Wisp Pit
Exhibit B - Mining Plan
1. What is the anticipated depth to which the pit will be
excavated?
2. Where will the topsoil be stockpiled? What is the thickness
of topsoil to be stripped?
3. What is the slope of the hill being excavated?
