Mining and Reclamation Timetable <br />Mining of the 30.0 acres will last approximately 9-10 years, depending on market demand for the <br />product. Mining and reclamation are expected to be completed by the year ?006 or ?007. Assum- <br />ing that the total reserve is 1,700,000 tons, the average production will be approximately 180,000 <br />to ?00,000 tons per year. <br /> <br />The following timetable is a best estimate of the sequence of operations for the life of the mine: <br />Task # Description Time Needed <br />I Strip Initial Soil & Construct S. Berrn (approx 10 acres) i mos. <br />2 Move in Facilities & Mine 15 acre area east of drainage 4 years 7 mos. <br />3 Strip soil from west side of drainage & reclaim east side 2 mos. <br />4 Mine Additional 13 Acres on West Side of Access Road 4 years 6 mos. <br />5 Reduce North Berm (].5 acres) 2 mos. <br />6 Remove Facilities 3 mos. <br />7 Remove South Berm and replace topsoil on west side Z mos. <br />8 Final reseeding, mulching and fertilizing I mos. <br />Total: 120 months (ten years) <br /> <br />The maximum area to be worked at any one time is approximately 15.0 acres.
