The material <br />storage area will cover most of the 15 acre plant site. <br />Water for processing and dust control will be purchased from the landowner as described in the <br />Exhibit G -Water Information. Sewage disposal will be provided through portable bathroom <br />facilities. No facilities, equipment orjunk that is not related to the gravel mining, processing or <br />hauling operation will be stored on site. There will be no contractors storage yard on the property. <br />9. Schedule of Operations <br />Normal mining operations occur from mid-March through mid-December. Occasionally, a mild <br />winter will permit the mine to be operated year-round. B&B plans no night gravel mining <br />operations, although minor truck activity may occur after hours. <br />• 10. Commodities to be Extracted and Intended Use <br />The primary and secondary products are washed and screened sand and gravels. The intended use is <br />to supply strictly the local area (Eagle-Gypsum) with these products. The products can be used for <br />roadbase prior to paving, making asphalt and concrete products, for drainage control projects, <br />gravel roads and various construction projects. <br />11. Water Control & Detention Structures <br />Disturbed Area Runoff Handling <br />Gravel pits that discharge surface water from the site are required to obtain a Stormwater Permit <br />issued from the Colorado Department of Health Water Quality Control Division. A Stormwater <br />permit is required to monitor discharges to the Eagle River. This permit originates from the EPA <br />• jurisdiction over the NPDES (National Discharge Elimination System).
