However In this area,l2" may not be present, thus top soil will need to be hauled to the site at time of reclamation. Any top soil that is present should be stock piled for future use. Top soil piles should not have steep slopes and should be seeded if reclamation is delayed until end of mining period. At time of reclamation-top .soil will-lie applied to disturbed areas at a depth of 10"-12" but not packed.
