Duvall was a wholly owned subsidi~.ary of
Pennzoil. Everybody recognizes the yellow can.
Pennzoil made the decision a few
years ago they wanted to stay in the oil business
only. They wanted to get out of the minincr
business. They sold off their fertilizer
businesses, their copper businesses.
They've taken the Precious Metals
Division, which is us, and turned us into our own
company and spun us off to the Pennzoil stockholders.
It was a great dividend for them. Their Pennzoil
stock went up. Our stock came on the market at about
$11 and has grown over the years and split once.
We consider ourselves to be a leader
in precious metals mining. That is our only
business. That's all we are interested in.
Again, I've introduced these people.
These people are important to us as are the people in
our area of expertise.
One of the things we've tried to do
early on is to have an open door policy in Costilla
County. We've attended several meetings down there.
