We don't mind taking a position to be <br />a leader in the industry. We want to show that <br />mining can be done in balance and in harmony with the <br />environment. We know that can be done. <br />We have listened to Governor Romer's <br />talks that they can't lower the standards f'or the <br />environment, and it's certainly not our intention to <br />ever ask anybody to do that. We will work within <br />the confines of the law within our agreements with <br />the governing agencies. <br />Our presence is going to enhance the <br />tax base of Costilla County. We'll employ people. <br />Our commitment has always been to the people of <br />Costilla County that we will employ as many of those <br />people that are competent and qualified, and i've <br />met some nice people there and I know that we can <br />train these people to help us run our organization <br />there in a safe and orderly manner. <br />It's a zero discharge plant and that's <br />the way we'll stay. <br />I can't emphasize enough the <br />importance of Battle Mountain Gold's position with <br />
