,,
~-

EXHIBIT G
Water Information
This sand and gravel operation is not expected to directly affect surface
or groundwater systems other than evaporation from the pond. The evapo-
ration losses will be replaced by augmentation of water rights from Sump
No. 1 as described in Case No. W-4099 of the Water Court of Division No. 1,
State of Colorado, dated March 14, 1974. The appropriation date is
April 15, 1949 and the amount of water is 0.44 cubic feet per second
(318.5 ac-ft.
yr ). A copy of the Findings and Ruling of the Referee and
Decree of the Water Judge is enclosed as part of this exhibit. There are
no known wells in the immediate area so no draw down or pollution problems
are anticipated. No washing of the crushed rock, sand, or gravel is anti-
cipated, since its planned use is base course material. In the event that
it does require washing, wash water will pass through a settling pond near
the southern end of Area II before being discharged into the Big Thompson
River. A copy of the NPDES discharge permit application is enclosed.
