Responses are organized in the same format <br />presented in your letter. <br />Exhibit B. -Index Map <br />Two copies of a revised Site index Map Have been included. Revisions <br />include labeling of all streets in the vicinity <br />Exhibit D - Mining:Plan <br />The report titled "Turnpike Mining Resource Low Water Crossing Design Report" <br />has been included and is referenced below in response to adequacy items a). <br />In response to: <br />1 } A small amount of topsoil material will be salvaged from an existing island <br />in the middle of the proposed low water crossing location. The volume is <br />approximately 3-4 yd3 and will be placed approximately 20 ft east of the <br />east river bank. <br />2) The structure description is given in Section 2.0 -Crossing Geometry <br />3) Water management during construction is addressed. in Section 6.0 - <br />Conclusions, and water management during the use is addressed in <br />Section 4.0 -Hydraulic Design. . <br />4) Measures to insure impacts to Boulder Creek are mitigated are addressed <br />in Section 4.0 -Hydraulic Design. In summary, the structure is designed <br />to fail for flood events where water surface elevations exceed 4940 ft and <br />therefore eliminating backwater effects (increased flooding) that could <br />result upstream. <br />10395 Colfax AvL?..
