FACILITY INFORMATION: (continued) <br />F. Design Capacity: Sediment pond //1 is designed to contain a <br />10-year, 24-hour precipitation event and <br />has a containment volume of 0.89 acre-feet. <br />The dugout pond is designed to contain 0.36 <br />acre-feet. <br />III. RECEIVING STREAM: <br />A. Identification, Classification, Numeric Standards <br />1. Identification: Unnamed tributary to the North Fork of the <br />Gunnison River <br />Sub-basin, Segment: Segment 6, Region 10, Gunnison River Basin; <br />North Fork of the Gunnison River Sub-basin <br />• 2. Classification: Recreational, Class 2 <br />Aquatic Life, Class 2 (Cold) <br />Agricultural Use <br />3. Numeric Standards: The standards which have been assigned in <br />accordance with the above classifications <br />can be found in 3.5.0 Classifications and <br />Numeric Standards for the Gunnison and <br />Lower Dolores River Basins (5 CCR 1002-8), <br />as amended January 30, 1991. It should be <br />noted that this facility does not discharge <br />pollutants which are limited by water <br />quality standards with the exception of pH. <br />B. Receiving Water Data <br />1. Stream Low Flow: Not applicable; effluent limitations are not <br />flow based. <br />IV. FACILITY INFORMATION: <br />A sedimentation pond, designed to contain Che LO-year, 24-hour <br />precipitation event, exists at the mine site for Outfall 001. <br />The Terror Creek Company loadout and screening facility is the same as <br />. described in the original individual NPDES permit rationale except that <br />the facility has requested in a mid-term review response submitted to the ' <br />Colorado MLRD that outfall 002 be removed. The facility has not received <br />approval to date. The facility has a maximum production rate of 500,000 <br />tons/year and an estimated lifetime of 20 years. <br />
