Minor disturbance area~• ~~ ~ ~
includes the haul access road. ~ ~. r ~''`~~
_ ~
2) Of the 9.3 acres within the permit area, 5.9
acres will be disturbed.
3) Disturbance is limited to the actual quarry
area, equipment storage area, select material
storage, overburden stock pile, stock pile area,
and haul road.
4) The quarry area does not intersect the existing
draw. As stated in "Drainage" within Exhibit
"D", the haul road crosses the draw, but,', no
culvert Will be used;"in as much a flowline is
not well defined at the lower end where the haul
ro crossing occurs. Due to the location of the
qua reaE depth of quarried material and
s1i e slop~g;~p.,other activity will occur within
the draw.
5) The hay bale dike was requested by a neighboring
operator. Its purpose is for temporary errosion
and sediment control within the quarry. It is
invisioned that the hay bale dike will remain as
part of the reclamation plan, its purpose is to
trap any surface drainage which could be used for
livestock watering.
CONSULTING ENGINEERS
