EXHIBIT C
MINING PLAN
Mining Plan
(a) Mining of the sand and gravel deposit is scheduled to commence
approximately February 1, 2000 and end approximately February 1,
2010.
(b). Topsoil depth is approximately 5" which is dark grayish brown loam.
Topsoil will be stripped and stockpiled from the active mining area. Sloping
of this stockpile will be no steeper than 3H:1 V and the slopes will be
mulched with straw to prevent wind and water erosion. Operator will also
seed stockpiles with a suitable cover crop to minimize weed production.
Topsoil stockpiling will be approximately 2,000 cu/yds. The topsoil
stockpiles will be located the SE corner of the pit.
(c) The subsoil is brown clay loam to 25" below that is brown, calcareous
clay loam. This overburden will be separately stockpiled in the manner
above (b).
(d) Thickness of the sand and gravel deposit is substantial ranging up to 72"
in depth.
(e) An access road will be built off of C.R. M. There will be no structures
erected. Sand and gravel material may be stockpiled or loaded directly
on county trucks for use on county roads.
(fl The pit will be operated as an open pit. There will be no improvements
and material stockpile dimensions will be determined to facilitate 3H:1 V.
Active pit area will be approximately 1 acre in size, roughly 200 z 200'.
After we mine an acre then we'll move north and mine another acre and
start reclaiming the mined out area.
