Comments: Final locations For drill pads and access corridors were not established. <br />Approximately 140 acres covering the area azound a western tributary of Deep Creek was <br />surveyed for proposed locations I S-O1, 15-02, 15-03, 16-01, and 16-04. An existing ATV trail <br />joining another access corridor (to SOM-53) to the southwest was also inventoried. <br />II. DESCRIPTION OF UNDERTAKING /PROJECT <br />10. Type of Undertaking: Five drill pad locations for potential gob vendde-gas boreholes. <br />11. Size of Undertaking (acres): 140 acres Size of Project (if different) 140 acres <br />12. Nature of the Anticipated Disturbance: Cleared drill pad areas, approximately 120 x 180 <br />feet, and access corridors. <br />13. Comments: Due to steep slopes and dense timber in much of azea, transect intervals were <br />irregular and wide (ca. 60-90 m). Inventory was least intense on steep slopes (> 60%) in the <br />western third and eastern edge of the survey block. <br />III. Description: The project azea is the valley of an east flowing tributary of Deep Creek and a short <br />section of the Deep Creek valley and adjacent slopes approximately one-half mile south of bVest <br />Flatiron. <br />
