Signed copies of the maps have been attached.
~2. Where needed, legends have been provided. Additional labeling has been added to the other maps for
clarity.
v3. A copy of page 2 of the application is attached, stating the present and future uses for the quarry
portion. The present and future use is open space, unused rock outcrop, as well as wildlife habitat.
v4. A revised legal description has been attached in which the area of the existing pewit has been
included.
v5. The location of the pipeline is depicted on both the Mining Plan and Pre-mining Plan maps. Please
note that the pipelines are HOPE and are very flexible. As mining progresses, these pipelines can be
easily relocated, and protected. We have also attached a damage agreement between ACA Products
and V. Paul Moltz, owner of the pipeline. The pipeline will be buried throughout the mining area for
protection.
26: We have portrayed the affected land on the Mining Plan Map with a dotted line. Please note that we
intend to stop sand recovery at the mouth of the Trout Creek canyon. Mining operations will be taken
to approximately 20 feet from the pernit boundary and sloped to approximately 4h:1 v slopes. We will
also maintain an approximate 10-foot zone from the 12" irrigation line along the east line of Area B,
along with the 20-foot zone, and slope accordingly.
/7. The affected land boundary has been modified on the Pre-mining end Mining Plan maps to include the
existing permit area, as well as the legal description, Exhibit A.
~8! Please see the attached topography drawing.
,9! We apologize for the confusion. Please refer to the new crossection contained within Mr. R. J. Irish's
Geotechnical Stability Analysis. The average slope of the completed highwall will be approximately
'
~
10. As stated in item 5, the pipelines are High Density Polyethylene (HOPE) and are very flexible. The
lines will remain buried to protect them. MMing the mining process, we will leave material in place to
protect the lines, and when the time comes to mine the material under and azound the pipes, the will
simply be relocated and recovered for protection. Keep in mind that the reclamation process is to
return the area to its original state leaving a gentle slope from the mouth of the canyon to the fields
beyond the permit area. Mining operations will be conducted in such a manner as to maintain a slope

U
~`"/ for the gravity (low line.
I 1
/ you have requested the blasting plans for our proposed quarrying operation. Unfortunately, we are
,~ev, e~ 'v not able to provide exact plans at this time. All of the blasting for the proposed quany is dependent
~~fvr J upon several unknown factors, such as riprap size, quantity of riprap that will be processed at any
~5 ~,~-r'' ~J„pygiven time, existing fractt>res, and quality of the product.
