The purpose of this letter is W outline our issues and concerns about the Platte Sand and Gravel I.

east side of the South Plane River adjacent m the applicant, as well ea, the applicant owning prop
the west side of the river adjacent to ow site. These comments are being submitted within 5 work
prior to the Ltformal Conference. We attetlded the DMG informal conference held in Milliken, C
on 3n. At that time, we identified ourselves as an `objector to the application' for, at least, the pt
gathering additional information to satisfy our concerns.
Ow plant hasn't roceived any information directly horn the State of Colorado regarding this app

expanded operation. The applicant indicated a current problem with excessive concrore spoils
Denver operation and we are concerned about ow neighborhood being negatively impacted b~
part of his proposed operation.
We think the siu of the wncrete recycling storage piles should be clearly specified by the app
and limited in the permit processes. There are runoff concerns on any storage pile that should
