<br />elevation in x~ell BF-4, below the level of the Rito Seco, at equal to or lower than an elevation oJ8583 feet above
<br />mean sea level (ft. arnsl). By maintaining this groundwater level in BF-4, the flox~ of groundwater jrorn the backfilled
<br />West Pit to the Rito Seco alluvial aquifer is eliminated through the implementation oja BMP comprised of establishing
<br />a hydraulic gradient reversal between the West Pit and the adjacem Rito Seco alluvial aquifer, so there will be no
<br />discharge from the West Pit. /f there should be any discharge from 002, then a compliance schedule is applicable,
<br />which includes monthly visual inspections of the 002 area, comparison with water levels in upgrodienr wells (alluvial
<br />aquifer monitoring wells M-16 and M-1 ~, reporting of any seepage flow that is associated wit/t the area ojhistoric
<br />seepage erpression (as identified in figure 2 ojlhe permit), submittal and implementation of a response plan, and
<br />utilization oja groundwater capture system (involving two wells M-32 and M-33). For further details, see Pan l.A.S.

<br />Public Notice Period, Comment Letters and Public Meeting: The Battle Mountain Resources, Inc. (BMR!) draft discharge
