- EXHIBIT D <br />• MINING PLAN <br />Phase I Area 1 will be stripped and quarried for limestone. This <br />will be accomplished by conventional open pit drilling and <br />blasting methods. The sandstone overburden will be strip- <br />ped from Area 1 and hauled to Area A. As the underlaying <br />limestone is removed the sandstone overburden will be <br />backfilled into the cavity left by the limestone in Area 1. <br />At this same time Area 6 will be stripped and stockpiled in <br />Area B. Approximately 8.5 acres will be worked. This phase <br />is expected to require 36 months. <br />Phase II Area 6 will be quarried for limestone. Area 2 will be <br />stripped and the sandstone overburden will be stockpiled <br />in Area 1 at a depth of 2' to 20'. Area 7 will be stripped <br />and stockpiled in Area B and 6. This phase will require <br />60 months. The approximate area worked at this time will <br />be 12 acres. <br />Phase III Limestone will be removed from Area 2. Area 5 will be <br />stripped and backfilled into Area B and 6 at a depth from <br />2' to 20'. This phase will require 60 months. The <br />approximate area to be worked at this time will be 8 acres. <br />Phase IV' Limestone will be removed from Area 7 and Area 5. Area 3 <br />will be stripped and backfilled into Area A and 2 at a <br />depth of 2' to 20'. This phase will require 72 months. <br />The approximate area worked at this time will be 8 acres. <br />Phase V Limestone will be removed from Area 3. Area 4 will be <br />• stripped and backfilled into Area 5, 7 and 3 at a depth <br />
