' Sromrwara Managcmrnr Plan <br />Map of the Affected Area <br />Kaiser Steel Resources has attached Figure 1 to this SWMP showing the outfalls and <br />discharge locations, the reclaimed mine site, and receiving waters. Any discharge from the <br />site flows into Stollsteimer Creek and then to the Piedra River. <br />Stormwater Controls <br />Kaiser Steel Resources has worked closely with the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology to undertake total reclamation of the Chimney Rock Coal Mine. The Reclamation <br />' Plan is an element of the Permit to Conduct Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation <br />Activities, Permit #C-81-023. The Stormwater controls contained therein include <br />sedimentation ponds and revegetation techniques which are incorporated here by reference. <br />Schedule of Activities <br />No new operations or activities will be undertaken by Kaiser Steel Resources at the <br />Reclaimed Chimney Rock Coal Mine. <br />J Plan Availability <br />Since no facilities or personnel are at the site, a copy of the SWMP will be kept at the <br />offices of Kaiser Steel Resources in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The SWMP will be available <br />to all personnel involved with compliance for the Reclaimed Chimney Rock Coal Mine. <br />Statement of Certification <br />' To indicate Kaiser Steel Resource's support with the stated goals of the SWMP, the <br />requirements contained in the plan will be implemented and maintained at the Reclaimed <br />Chimney Rock Coal Mine. In addition, Kaiser Steel Resources will utilize post-mining <br />discharge limitations for each of its authorized outfalls for the Reclaimed Chimney Rock <br />Coal Mine. Kaiser Steel Resources will also utilize post-mining limitations since all outfalls <br />serving the surface area have been returned to the required contour and revegetation <br />including seeding and planting has been completed. <br />2 <br />
